Dear fellow disciples of Jesus Christ,
Christmas greetings to you in the Name of Emmanuel – God with us – Jesus Christ, the Lord! And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book. Revelation 22:7 Praise the Lord for a wonderful Fall Radio Bible Conference! An MP3 CD of the conference is still available!
Guess what?! We have "Snow" in Carriacou! Snow, the can man, that is. :) Mama C is doing well and continues her ministry here at the Harbour Light as well as at church. Brother Richard found out this year that he has high blood sugar. With the help of medication and diet, he is doing OK, however, his stamina has been affected. Pray for him. He is a faithful, willing, hard working helper in the ministry. He was my tower maintenance man but now doctors don't recommend he climb the tower. Francina is well and busy in her roles of program production, correspondence Bible Study Group coordinator, and mom. The Littles praise the Lord for God's provision for them to continue working on their house a little at a time. The interior is nearing completion with only kitchen cabinets, tile and some ceiling work left to do. They are now in the process of painting the exterior and planning for for the railing on their porch. Pray with them as they seek the Lord's will concerning a vehicle. Thank you for your prayers as I lead the ministries here. I am well but feeling tired for some reason. I think we are all tired – including children – so pray that we will be able to get some extra rest this Christmas. Sharlene is very busy as usual. Pray for strength for her and wisdom as she juggles school and home responsibilities. Pray for all of our children (Littles & Cornelius) that they will commit themselves to the Lord and to His perfect will for their lives. Continue to pray with us for some godly help for both the radio station and school work!
As we look back over this past year, we can see the hand of the Lord very clearly. It has been an exciting, challenging, extremely busy, but blessed year! It's hard to believe that last year at this time, there was only grass where the school building now sits “well used” for the past 3 months. Praise the Lord, the AM transmitter is in good shape, the little generator continues to run well, computer and streaming systems have been upgraded – there are many, many things for which we are thankful. There were times when it felt like “everything” was going wrong – transmitter failure, generator trouble, faulty antennas, vehicle frustrations and more, but we praise the Lord for bringing us through these many and various trials, thankful that they have not been overwhelming and, as the Lord promised (and in answer to your prayers), He has given grace, strength, wisdom, hope, and peace. We trust the special Christmas programming is a blessing!
Each of us (broadcasters, too!) is delighted that God has called us to serve Him here at the Harbour Light. There isn't anything else that we would rather be doing! Our faith is strengthened by God's abundant provision to keep the work going and our hearts are thrilled to hear from listeners and Bible students who are being saved and/or are growing in the Lord. It is hard to say exactly, but it appears that there are tens-of-thousands who are listening all around the Windward Islands! Many depend on the programming for almost all of their spiritual edification because there are so few good, godly, separated churches to attend – and their numbers are dwindling rapidly. Thank you so much for your faithful prayers, gifts, and encouragement! We want to be faithful to God's Word and perfect will “'til we see Christ!”
With God's faithful enablement and provision through you and others, we will continue...
Spreading the WORD,
Randy Cornelius & Staff
A Christ-filled Christmas to you and God's very best in the New Year!
